French CFNR interested in harbors in Apatin and Novi Sad


The French company, CFNR, is interested in taking part in the construction of the harbours in Apatin and Novi Sad, it has been said today at the meeting of the ministers of traffic, Milutin Mrkonjic and the Association of the French companies, Medef.
The Secretary in the Ministry of Traffic, Miodrag Poledic, said that in Serbia, eight out of ten harbors have been privatized and that other state-owned harbors are in Apatin and Novi Sad.
- For Luka Apatin, in cooperation with the Agency for harbors, a tender will be released soon for selection of the private partner – Poledica said adding that it was necessary to build a new harbor there.
He said that it would be necessary to set aside EUR 30 mil for the construction of a new harbor.
When it comes to Luka Novi Sad, it is most likely that similar tender will be released. Here, it is necessary to modernize the existing harbor and invest between EUR 5 to 10 mil.
