Slovenia won't give up "Ljubljana's dairies"


The Minister of Agriculture of Slovenia, Marija Lukacic, announced that the state's Capital fund (KAD) and SOD fund should buy off the shares of "Ljubljana's dairies" and in this way keep the company in Slovenian property.
In the negotiations with the representatives of the dairy's unions, she said that KAD and SOD should be buying off the shares only temporary in order to make sure that the state was majority owner of "Ljubljana's dairies".
The investment fund "Salford" with a British-Serbian capital, which is the owner of several dairies in Serbia, was the first and only one to give offer to the recentley published elections for the purchase of 54,07% of the shares of "Ljubljana's dairies". "Salford" and representatives of "Ljubljana's dairies" have started negotiations about the technical detailes of transaction, and the main talks should start next week.
Statements of Ms. Lukacic were taken with surprise in "Zenos" company, which is doint negotiations in the name of "Salford" with "Ljubljana's dairies".
