(Ivanjica)

Slovenians will invest in Ivanjica, mainly in the energy sector, Ivanjica Deputy Mayor Raco Sekulic announced Wednesday, after returning from a three-day visit to that country.

Sekulic told Tanjug news agency that Slovenian companies were interested in building small hydroelectric power stations, solar power plants and biomass power plants and starting mechanical production of electric turbines.

- They have recognized our municipality as very interesting investment destination, and today we also submitted an offer for the construction of 40 prefabricated houses with the value of that investment estimated at EUR 1 million - said Sekulic.

The visit of an Ivanjica delegation to Slovenia came at the invitation of the president of the Slovenian-Serbian Business Club, Zika Jovanovic.

- The most important thing is that a large number of people will be hired - said Sekulic, who visited Ljubljana, Domzale, Trzin, Mozirje i Luce in Slovenia with his associates.
