Contract signed on construction of new sports hall in Zrenjanin, investment worth more than 3m EUR

- In Zrenjanin, next to the old sports hall in the Karađorđe park, the construction of the new sports hall will start, in which over 3m EUR will be invested - the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Goran Knežević, announed.

He estimated that the new investments would contribute to the improvement of standard and higher employment rate, whereas the sports hall would enable even better results in that city of sports.

New sports hall with glass facade, 2,800 seats and total surface of 7,160 square meters will be settled next to the present hall, which will be used, first of all, for preparations and training.

Following the representation of the project for construction of the hall in the Press Center of Town Hall of Zrenjanin, the contract on construction was signed by the manager of the Agency for Construction of City, Božidar Đurica, and the manager of "SM inženjering" Čedomir Ivković.

According to the plan, the sports hall will be completed in October 2007.
