Factory of mineral fertilizers "Fertil" from Bačka Palanka started production

Company "Victoria group" opened the factory of mineral fertilizers "Fertil" on September 8, 2006 in Bačka Palanka "Fertil". The factory is based on the technology that is applied for the first time in our country.

- It will be the first factory in the region that will produce fertilizers by method of compaction. It is up-to-date world technology of German company "Kepern" - says the manager of "Fertil" Vladimir Todorović.

- By means of compacting, the new granule of homogenous structure is obtained from the standard mineral components. Concerning the fact that this technology is based on completely dry procedure, without creation of waste gases or liquids, it is completely in accordance with the ecological standards that are applied in the world – he explains.

The factory will have the capacity of about 230,000 tons of fertilizers per year.

At the moment, company "Victoria group" invests much in the oil factory "Mladost" in Šid, and according to the words of Branivoje Jovičić, the manager of oil factory "Mladost", the new refinery for production of edible oil "Dukat" will be put into operation in January 2007. That factory will be producing 10-15m liters of that oil on annual basis.

Also, at the beginning of year 2007, the bio-diesel factory will be opened and it will be in accordance with the technology of company "Lurgi" whose capacity is 100,000 tons per year. This company takes special place in the development plans of "Victoria group" and its positioning in the agricultural business.
