Electricity price for industrial consumers to go up in two stages

Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has stated that the total increase in the price of electricity for large industrial consumers will be divided into two stages for easier adaptation.

- The increase in power prices is a process and will happen in stages to make it easier for everyone to adapt - she said at a meeting with German Ambassador to Serbia Heinz Wilhelm.

She added that industrial consumers would find it easier if the first increase was done early in the year, while the next one could happen later, by the end of this or early next year, if the economic projections indicated it was feasible, it was announced on the ministry's website.
