Paracin-based glass factory to hire new experts in 2013

Paracin-based Srpska Fabrika Stakla (Serbian Glass Factory - SFS), the only manufacturer of packaging glass in Serbia, will quadruple its production in 2013 thanks to a EUR 13 million investment.
- Last year's production amounted to 25,000 tonnes, whereas the 2013 production is projected at over 100,000 tonnes - SFS CEO Miodrag Nikolic told Tanjug news agency.
As he specified, new production lines B-1 and L-5 will be completed in January and July 2013, respectively, and "the production will be raised to the level of over 300 tonnes per day."
- We also plan to procure materials for the third furnace for machinery and trade glass as well as to hire new experts - Nikolic pointed out and reminded that the process of complete financial and technological revitalization of the glass factory had commenced upon the acquisition of a majority stake in SFS in mid-July 2012.
The owner of SFS is an international consortium led by Glass Industry from Bulgaria.
