State sells stake in Neoplanta for EUR 2.5 million


Privatization Agency has put up for sale ownership stakes in a large number of companies listed on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, scheduling a public auction for 29 January 2013.
The deadline to submit applications is January 23rd, while the deposit to be paid by all interested investors is set at 50 percent of the starting value.
Share Fund will offer its 8.4 percent stake in Novi Sad-based Neoplanta for sale at the starting price of RSD 292.3 million, which is in line with the book value of shares of RSD 1,466. The current price of Neoplanta shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange amounts to RSD 484.
Share Fund will also try to sell ownership stakes in several other companies that were very interesting to portfolio investors in the distant past, such as Zemun-based Pupin Telecom, Sombor-based Sunce, Belgrade-based companies Kopaonik and Telefonkabl, Rumaplast, Pancevo-based Stari Tamis, etc.
