Supreme state auditors appointed

The Council of the State Audit Institution appointed Tuesday (27 November 2012)supreme state auditors, the Institution announced in a release at its website.
By taking oath in front of the Council, the following persons have assumed their duties: Cvetana Prsic in the Department for the Audit of the Budget and Budget Funds of the Republic of Serbia, Dusko Pejovic, PhD, in the Department for the Audit of Local Authorities' Budgets, Radulka Urosevic in the Department for the Audit of Mandatory Social Security Organizations, and Svetlana Toma Anokic in the Performance Auditing Department.
According to the release, all newly-appointed supreme state auditors hold authorized state auditor titles.
In the Institution, the duty of the supreme state auditor is also performed by Ljubica Jankovic Andrijevic in the Department for the Audit of the National Bank of Serbia, in part relating to the usage of public funds and operations involving the national budget and other entities subject to audit, and Zeljko Rnjak in the Department for the Audit of Public Enterprises, Business Companies and other legal entities founded by or with participation in the capital owned by or managed by the public funds’ beneficiary.
Pursuant to the Law on the State Audit Institution, a supreme state auditor shall be appointed and removed from position by the Council, at the proposal of the president of the Institution, for a six-year period with the possibility of reelection.
