For modernization of production in Zastava Weapons - 700.000 EUR

After the investment break of about a decade and a half, these days has begun the modernization of production equipment, in Zastava Weapons. Eleven new processing numeral centers have arrived in Zastava's factory of weapons (each has 20 tools and replaces the same number of workers), which are the latest products from the South Korean company Daewoo, whose value reaches up to 700.000 EUR.

By the end of the year, in Zastava Weapons there will be installed 10 more numeral processing centers, ordered from the German company DMG. The management points out that this is the first big investment in modernization of the production equipment which would certainley raise the level and productiveness of works and improve the quality of manufactured weapon, which is mostly sold at foreign markets.

They estimate that this year the value of produced weapons would reach 20 millions USD, and as almost all of Zastava's weapons is being sold at the North American and other worls markets, this will also be the value of this year's export of this Kragujevac company,
