Milos Vucevic named new mayor of Novi Sad

Milos Vucevic, president of the City Board of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), was elected the new mayor of Novi Sad early this morning.
A total of 42 out of 78 aldermen votied for Vucevic for mayor.
Previously, Democratic Party (DS) aldermen left the assembly hall after a discussion on the appointment of Vucevic.
Sinisa Sevic (SPS) is appointed as the chairperson of the Novi Sad City Assembly, while his deputy is Miroslav Ilic (Dveri).
New deputy mayor is Borko Ilic from the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS).
