Air service between Bratislava and Nis?

An airline from Slovakia is interested in launching a new service from Bratislava to Nis via Venice, Slovakian Ambassador to Serbia Ian Varsho confirmed during his visit to Nis.

The ambassador talked with Nis Mayor Zoran Pesic about that topic and possible investments of Slovakian companies in that city.

- The Slovakian company is interested in making this investment, but we are waiting to see their terms – said Perisic.

The mayor also announced the introduction of this service in late July, when he also spoke about the launch of new flights to Verona and Zurich.

Currently, there is only one weekly flight from Nis to Podgorica.

About ten days ago it was announced that the airplanes from Nis would be flying once a week to Trieste as of April 2013.
