How does the first uploaded Internet photo look like?

Your first look at the photo can tell it is about bad Facebook photography or it is a bad cover of an obscure band. But, this photo of four women in seducing postures could go into history because it is believed to be the first uploaded Internet photo ever. Four attractive women on the photo are employees from CERN lab taken 20 years ago. They were playing in a bend called Les Horribles Cernettesand its members were administrative assistants form the lab and wives or girlfriends of CERN scientists.
Their photo ended up on the Internet because Tim Berners who took part at the global world network creation, was at that time employed at CERN.
The author of the photography, Silvano de Gennaro, worked as an assistant in Tim Berners - Lee’s lab and at the moment when Lee wished to test the new network which would broadcast photos, Gennaro gave him the Les Horribles Cernettes bend photography.
- When the history happens, you never know youare in the middle of it – Gennaro said.
