Mushrooms from Čačak won New York's market

Čačak-based "Interfood" delivers between 500 and 700 kg of fresh mushrooms to New York every three weeks.

The owner and manager of company Milić Popović says that, in the previous season, that Čačak-based company exported about 3m EUR worth of fresh, dried and frozen mushrooms.

These days, "Interfood" received invitation from New York for participation in the international fair "Fancy food", which is held from July 9 to July 11, 2006. Another 17 Serbian companies will travel to New York, all these thanks to the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture and American Agency for INternational Development (USAID).
