Spanair increases number of flights between Belgrade and Barcelona


The Spanish flag carrier Spanair is going to increase the number of flights it operates between Belgrade and Barcelona from three to four a week during the summer season, the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport announced.
According to the announcement, Spanair will operate one additional Belgrade-Barcelona flight a week in the period July 24th - September 8th, 2012.
The flight will depart from Belgrade in early morning hours and return from Barcelona during the night, thus enabling passengers to catch a connecting flight to Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Alicante, Costa del Sol and the Canary Islands.
Spanair transported over 32,000 passengers on their flights between Belgrade and Barcelona in 2011.
According to the data available on the company's website www.spanair.com, the price of a return ticket for a flight between Belgrade and Barcelona, with all taxes included, costs from EUR 138.
