Major changes in Univerzal Banka's ownership structure continue

The sale of the insurance company Delta Generali Osiguranje's 4.7-percent stake in Belgrade-based Univerzal Banka to the company Delta Capital has been followed by a series of big transactions involving shares in this bank.
Sabac-based Farmakom MB concern has become a shareholder of Univerzal Banka by acquiring a 4.9-percent stake in that bank from the largest local drug wholesaler Velefarm, which has been experiencing serious problems for a long time now. Farmakom, which is also famous as one of bigger recipients of loans granted by local banks, has also acquired a significant stake in Jumbes Banka and Agrobanka over the last year.
The last bigger transaction involving the shares in Univerzal Banka took place on Tuesday, when the company Blumark Investments, which is completely unknown to the local public, acquired somewhat less than 5% of shares from the off-shore company Chatteropia Holding Limited.
The price of shares in all aforementioned transactions ranged between 2,080 and 2,150 dinars a piece, which is barely above the historical minimum value of the bank's shares.
