The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, due to the current challenges for domestic exporters due to the increase in customs duties of the United States of America, launched a new specialized info service for companies "New US tariffs", through which business people can obtain complete, timely and true information, download documents and analyses on new customs rates and other current events of importance for business.

The CCIS invites business people to contact the chamber through the info service and receive information, and later guidelines and recommendations for overcoming challenges in order to better adapt to the new situation and protect their business, it is stated on the website.

Within the new service, the CCIS will publish the most important news, current affairs, information on economic trends and analyses of the impact on business, as well as documents relevant to our exporters.

– The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia makes all its capacities available to business people and state institutions in support of the most urgent negotiations with the American administration and is actively working on the coordination of all relevant institutions in order to help business people overcome challenges and reduce the negative impact of increased customs rates on business results and bilateral economic relations with trade partners. The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the state are actively working to represent the position of domestic exporters in the negotiations with Washington – the CCIS points out.

They add that the situation is complex both for small and medium-sized companies and for large companies:

– Domestic companies are already suffering damage, when it comes to deals already agreed with American partners.

Through a special, dedicated e-mail address: usa.carina@pks.rs, companies can contact and send their inquiries regarding the changed business conditions due to the introduction of new tariffs of the United States of America.
