MediGroup sold to Finnish Mehiläinen Group - Largest transaction in private healthcare market in Central and Eastern Europe

MidEuropa, a private investment fund with a significant presence in Central and Southeastern Europe, became the majority owner of the MediGroup system in 2018, after acquiring 100% ownership of the Regina Maria system in 2015. With experience in the development of health systems, MidEuropa, as it turns out, played a key role in the expansion and strengthening of the leadership position of MediGroup and the Regina Maria system in private healthcare in the region.
