According to the most recent decision, from February 21 at 3 PM, at gas stations in Serbia, diesel fuel costs RSD 204 (EUR 1.74), and petrol RSD 189 (EUR 1.6).
When the prices are compared to those in Europe, it can be concluded that fuel in Serbia is not the most expensive, but it is also far from being the cheapest.
According to the data from the acl.lu website, diesel fuel costs as much as in Belgium, and it is more expensive only in Denmark (1.92), Switzerland (1.90) and Iceland (2.16).
When it comes to the 95-octane petrol, whose price is capped by the competent ministry, Serbia is among the countries with more expensive fuel, although there are more expensive ones: in Germany (1.74), Denmark (2.01), France (1.74), Greece (1.77), Ireland (1.76), Iceland (2.11), Italy (1.75), Norway (1.81), Netherlands (1.94), Portugal (1.76) and Switzerland (1.80).
When it comes to the countries of the region, petrol is cheaper than in Serbia in all of them: in Montenegro it is EUR 1.46, in Slovenia 1.47, in Croatia 1.45, in Bulgaria 1.29, and in Romania 1.46.
According to the data from the acl.lu website, Bulgaria has the cheapest petrol, and Andorra the cheapest diesel fuel.
