Serbia gets first generation of AI managers

The first generation of artificial intelligence (AI) managers in our country were handed over 12 certificates at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), and representatives of the company Austrian Standards handed over the plaque to the Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) of the CCIS as confirmation of the fulfilment of the standards and acknowledgments for dedication to the development of competences in line with the European standards.

– With the CDT Training Center, we are trying to give knowledge and skills to employees in companies in Serbia in a practical way and to give them as much usable material according to the highest world standards in partnership with the company Austrian Standards, whose methodology we have received and developed education programs – stated Predrag Nikolic, the director of the Center for Digital Transformation (CDT).

Attendees of the first generation of the Training Center, CDT consultants and winners of the AI manager certificates, Milan Boricic and Miljan Radunovic, shared their experiences related to the training and the possibilities when it comes to the first steps in the application of artificial intelligence in our economy.

– Until now, it was not possible to get this certificate in Serbia and we had to go abroad instead – explains Boricic and adds that the course, organized in three parts, has enabled him to bring new value to his company in cooperation with foreign clients.

Radunovic agrees with this estimate and says that, even if there were a hundred AI managers in Serbia at this moment, it wouldn’t be enough considering the needs of the local economy.
