He added that the state would also rent cruise ships which would be part of additional accommodation capacities.
– As a state, we will rent up to 10 cruise ships and they will also be part of additional accommodation capacities. Dubai has done so, other countries have done so as well, because it is cheaper for cruise ships to serve as accommodation units, people rent a room there, stay for a couple of days, rather than having a hotel built – said Mali.
As he added, the cruise ships will secure an additional 1,800 beds.
Let us remind that it was previously announced that, for EXPO, Belgrade will get “ship-hotels”, and as said at the time, two locations on the Sava and one on the Danube were being considered.
