Students announce plan to block Autokomanda – Banat farmers also set off on tractors for Belgrade, 10 tractors remain

The blockade of Autokomanda will begin on Monday, January 27, at 10 AM and last 24 hours, the students of the Faculty of Law announced yesterday.

The procession of the technical faculties and the Faculty of Law, as they added, will start from the Faculty of Law at 9.15 AM, and the students explained that the shifts at Autokomanda, as reported by Danas, would last four hours.

Various programs will be organized during the blockade, adds the page Pravni u blokadi on the social network X.

– We will have tents and heaters, as well as some activities such as “Tea Party with Students,” mini football, chess tournaments and many others. We invite as many people as possible to join us, especially in the late evening hours. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and socialize – they said.

As a reminder, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic yesterday asked the competent authorities, primarily the police, to secure all blockades and rallies that are held daily, “even though they are illegal,” in every place and “in the widest range possible,” so that no car or bus comes close to them.

In a video address on his Instagram account, Vucic said that that also applied to the 24-hour blockade of Autokomanda on Monday, which he assessed as extremely harmful, “because citizens will suffer.” He added that he did not believe that there was a valid reason for it.

– Since they have announced the blockade, I ask the police to secure all access roads, so that no car can in any way endanger the safety of anyone who is in that area. And let citizens judge the fact that some people have blocked their roads, streets and normal life – he emphasized.

Today, in support of the students, farmers from Banat also set off for Belgrade on tractors.

– The Farmers’ Association Novoseljanski Paori has organized a support action for students of the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun today. We will bring food to them and send tractors because all sorts of things are happening, the other day they knocked down a female student – we will not allow this to happen – said the farmer Zoran Sefkerinovac, reports N1.

As N1 reports, the farmers will leave food at the Faculty of Agriculture, and in addition to the groceries, ten tractors will also be left.
