On December 27, 2024, the Republic of Serbia signed the agreements on long-term investment loans with Banca Intesa AD Beograd and UniCredit Bank Srbija a.d. Beograd for the purpose of the financing of the construction of the Ruma-Sabac-Loznica traffic route. The total borrowing amounts to RSD 20 billion (around EUR 170.6 million), of which 12 billion is envisaged in the contract with Banca Intesa, and 8 billion dinars with UniCredit Bank. For both loans, the parties agreed for the borrowing to be in dinars.

At the most recent session, the Government also adopted bills on borrowing from those two banks.

As said in the explanation of the law, the credit with Banca Intesa has the maturity date of January 3, 2035, with 32 equal three-month installments following the grace period, which expires on January 4, 2027. The interest rate is defined as a three-month BELIBOR increased by a fixed margin of 2.5% a year.

The total length of the section is 77 kilometers, of which the Ruma-Sabac highway is 22 km long, whereas the length of the Sabac-Loznica fast route is 55 km.
