New acting director of Serbian Railways Infrastructure appointed

The Government of Serbia appointed Vladimir Maksimovic acting director of Serbian Railways Infrastructure JSC, as announced in the Official Gazette.

Eight days before, the government dismissed the acting director of Serbian Railways Infrastructure JSC, Jelena Tanaskovic, who was arrested due to the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad Rail Station, which caused the death of 15 people and severe injuries in two.

The Higher Court in Novi Sad ordered a three-month house arrest for Jelena Tanaskovic.
