"Toyota" develops its version of economic car with ethanol power starter

"Toyota" company has recentley started a development of a car with ethanol power starter for Brasilian market, and its accomplishements in this project would represent in USA till 2008.
However, the largest Japanese manufacturer, which is at the moment the one and only leader in the market of gasoline-electrical hybrids, has resisted for a long time to ethanol power technology. This left a free space which readily used up some American manufacturers, like "General motors" and "Ford", so these companies have today in American streets more than 1.5 millions flex-fuel vehicles.
The reason for "Toyota"'s hesitation was above all woriness of its experts because of the negative influence this high-corosive ethanol could have on the rubber made parts in the engine. With time, this problem was solved, and the first "Toyota" vehicle on ethanol will be equipped with new anticorosive parts, which would please American standards.
