The Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) of the European Union has announced that Switzerland has withdrawn from the market yellow corn flour produced in Serbia.

As said, aflatoxin (aflatoxin B1 – microtoxins) is present in it, as determined through official control in the market.

The risk to people’s health has been deemed “potentially serious.”

Let us remind that, at the beginning of last month, RASFF announced that cucumbers from Serbia planned for the Croatian market had not crossed the border.

Chlorpyrifos was found in them at the time, and the package from Serbia was designated as potentially risky.
