The business web portal eKapija (www.ekapija.com) celebrated the 2,000th issue of its electronic bulletin and the end of the educational broker game Share Game at a ceremony on Tuesday, November 1st.

Guided by an idea that success should be shared with others, representatives of eKapija and Share Game participants have decided to donate the prize money to the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer (NURDOR).

Speaking about eKapija's previous results, Executive Director Aleksandar Parezanovic stated that the first issue of the company's electronic bulletin had been sent in March 2005 to few tens of addresses, whereas the jubilee 2,000th issue had been delivered to over 15,800 users.

- We take pride in the fact that the number of our subscribers is still growing, even in this year of crisis, at an annual rate of 20%, while as many as 82% of users decide to continue using our services every year - Parezanovic said and added that eKapija strongly advocated regional cooperation and, therefore, "ekapija will soon enter those countries with which our economy cooperates the most."

Head of Analysis at M&V Investments Milivoje Knezevic, the winner of Share Game, which is a simulation of real investments on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, presented the donation to NURDOR President Todor Mancic on behalf of eKapija and all contestants.

- Aside from executing various business obligations and tasks on a daily basis, and apart from considering opportunities to improve our operations and increase the company's profit, we must also take care of people who are not able to cope with all challenges brought by time. After all, that is a noble side of our business and something that makes our operations more valuable and successful - said Knezevic.

Upon receiving the donation, Todor Mancic expressed gratitude to eKapija and all participants in the game.

- The borough of Savski Venac has made a decision to have two apartments bequeathed by Mijodrag Stanojevic used as a Parent House for the accommodation of children with cancer who come from the provinces of Serbia, escorted by their parents, to be treated at a hematology/oncology clinic in Belgrade. This donation by eKapija will enable us to equip the kitchen in one of these apartments - Mancic added.
