FX inflow from tourism in Serbia in eight months 13% higher than in same period in 2023

In the first eight months of this year, Serbia realized an FX inflow from tourism in the amount of EUR 1.9 billion, which is 13% more than in the same period in 2023, announced the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS).

– From the data for the first six months of this year, we were already able to predict that the year 2024 would be even better than the record-setting year of 2023. These results make me happy, because they indicate that what we are doing is absolutely right and motivates us to be better and better each year in promoting our country as a tourism destination – said the director of the TOS, Marija Labovic.

In the press release, they remind that, according to the data of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), the FX inflow from tourism in the whole 2023 amounted to EUR 2.5 billion, which was 8% more than in 2022.
