The beginning of the procedure entails the publishing of the draft rulebook on the minimal requirements for the issuing of individual permits for the use of the radio frequency spectrum based on the public contest procedure carried out for the radio frequency bands 694-790 MHz, 880-915/925-960 MHz, 1710-1780/1805-1875 MHz, 1920-1980/2110-2170 MHz, 2500-2690 MHz and 3400-3800 MHz and holding public consultations for 30 days.
Within the public consultations, on September 25, from noon until 3 PM, at the Palace of Serbia (east wing, room 368), a round table will be organized, during which everybody interested will have the opportunity to present their opinions and propositions regarding said document in person or online.
Following the completion of the public discussion, the final version of the draft rulebook will be prepared, and following its publication, RATEL will carry out the public contest for the awarding of the radio frequency bands necessary for the introduction of mobile networks of the new generation.
The ministry expects RATEL to complete said procedure by the middle of next year.
The draft document is available on the official website of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, says the government’s announcement.
