Podravka takes over Bobi salty snacks

The company Podravka has announced that the Supervisory Board of that food and drink manufacturer from Croatia made a decision at the yesterday's session to give its previous consent for the conclusion of the negotiation procedure for the acquisition of the trademark Bobi and a production and packaging line for extruded products.

The company Kras acquired the Osijek-based factory of biscuits, waffles and snacks Karolina from Austria's Lorenz Bahlsen Snack World GmbH in early February.

Kras did not take over the salty snack production division on that occasion. It was determined by the takeover agreement that Lorenz Bahlsen's salty snacks would still be produced in the same location in Osijek over the period of two years following the takeover.
