Vesic announces planning of expansion of Belgrade-Novi Sad highway by one lane on each side

The designing of the expansion of the Belgrade-Novi Sad highway by one lane on each side is being planned, said the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, while visiting the final works on the rehabilitation of the IB-grade state road no. 12, section Novosadski put Street through Veternik, with the prime minister of Serbia, Milos Vucevic.

Let us remind that the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, also announced the designing of the expansion of the highway at the beginning of this year for the next year. Before that, in 2021, he said that “next year, the tender for the expansion of the Belgrade-Novi Sad highway will be opened.”

Vesic also announced an investment in the section at the entrance to Novi Sad from the highway.
