Landfill in Pirot as of 2012

After completing installation of the structure of an asphalt base in Sukovo village near Pirot, the company Alpine will commence the works on paving a section of Drugi Ring street and an access road to the Regional Landfill.

Works on the regulation of a brook on the territory of the landfill are underway, and the concrete procedure preceding the very opening of the landfill is discussed on a regular basis at meetings with representatives of all municipalities, says Pirot Deputy Mayor Branislav Kostic.

The landfill is expected to be put in operation in January 2012. Works on other building sites also go as planned.
