The construction of a total of 12 dual training centers is planned in Serbia.
As the media reported last autumn, with the construction of the training center, Subotica will become the dual education center in Vojvodina. The plan is for the training center to spread on over 3,600 m2, with 11 workshops and 20 specialized cabinets, and the project financed by the EIB is worth EUR 5 million.
When it comes to Pozega, the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, announced at the beginning of 2023 that the local Technical School will be turned into a regional training center for CNC processing, because that is the scarcest profession.
She said that the Government of Serbia had invested EUR 620,000 in the Technical School up to that point and that another EUR 1.7 million would be invested in the second one, of which 1.1 million in the construction works and EUR 520,000 in the equipment.
