20,000 Foreign Workers from Kenya Coming to Serbia!

Hussein Mohamed, the spokesperson of the office of the president of Kenya, has announced new job opportunities “abroad” for his fellow citizens and announced that 20,000 jobs in Serbia have been created for them, all of them in construction and the service sector.

Mohamed emphasized that it was a result of the efforts of the Kenyan president to find foreign partners and that the formal negotiations about the creation of jobs for Kenyan nationals would be completed not long after. He cited the following numbers:

Germany: 250,000 jobs
Israel: 30,000 jobs in agriculture, 3,000 as soon as March

Serbia 20,000 jobs in construction and the service sector
Russia: 10,000 jobs.

As the National Employment Service of Serbia said for Bliz Biznis recently, in 2023, a total of 52,184 permits for foreign workers were issued, of which 9,877 to women. Compared to one year before, 17,000 more permits were issued, of which 2,900 more to women.
