City Looking for Company for Supervision over Construction of Tunnel Between Sava and Danube Slopes

The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has published the tender for the services of a FIDIC engineer and supervision over the works for the Tunnel Connection from Karadjordjeva Street to the Danube Slope. The value of this procurement procedure is estimated at RSD 311.7 million.

According to the transportation solution of the General Regulation Plan of Belgrade, a traffic connection between the Sava and Danube slopes is planned, which would open with a tunnel for road traffic. The tunnel is planned as an extension of the Old Sava Bridge and its route extends from Karadjordjeva Street beneath the Terazije Crest toward Despota Stefana Blvd.

Let us remind that, in July, the memorandum of understanding for the project for the construction of a tunnel connection from Karadjordjeva Street to the Danube Slope with access routes and park areas and infrastructure was signed between the City of Belgrade and the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency on one side and the company Powerchina as the contractor.
