Serbia and North Macedonia to Sign Memorandum on Construction of Fast Railroad from Nis to Skopje

The minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic, has announced that he will sign the Memorandum on the construction of the fast railroad from Nis to Skopje with his North Macedonian colleague, Blagoje Bocvarski, tomorrow, for which the two countries will jointly apply for EU funds.

– We will sign the Memorandum with North Macedonia and I am especially proud of it – Vesic said on a TV show.

He said that the designing of the Nis-Presevo section, 135 kilometers long, was in progress and that the North Macedonian partners would design “their” section, from the border to Skopje, around 50 kilometers long.
