Average Salary in June Amounts to RSD 85,539 – Half of Employees Paid up to RSD 65,358

Average gross salaries and wages calculated for June 2023 amounted to RSD 118,025, while average net salaries and wages amounted to RSD 85,539, as announced on the website of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Increase of gross salaries and wages, and net salaries and wages, in the period January–June 2023, relative to the same period last year amounted to 15.4% in nominal terms, i.e. 0.1% in real terms.

Compared with the same month last year, average gross salaries and wages and net salaries and wages for June 2023 increased by 15.1% in nominal terms, and 1.2% in real terms.

Median net salaries and wages for June 2023 amounted to RSD 65,358, meaning that 50% of employees realized wages and salaries up to the mentioned amount.
