Construction of Meadows Solar Power Plant Planned in Kovin – Panels to Spread on 150 ha in First Phase

The Municipality of Kovin has advertised the early public inspection on the occasion of the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan of the Meadows solar power plant in that place. The land on which the construction is planned is registered as agricultural land.

The plan encompasses the construction of a solar power plant for the production of electrical energy from renewable sources.

Depending on the potentials of solar energy, the plan is to build the infrastructural complex of a solar power plant with the matching connecting cable, TC and other networks and structures, as well as a network of access roads.

In the first phase, the solar power plant is planned on around 150 ha, and the total area is conditioned on the approved maximum power, which will be defined by the competent transfer system operator.

The plan is to also build the necessary technical, traffic and other infrastructure.

In the immediate surroundings is the existing power line network with a voltage of 110 kV, and the preliminary plan is for the solar power plant to connect to it. The preliminary plan for the traffic connection of the solar power plant is to the existing farm road.

The investor is Meadows doo Beograd, and the plan was prepared by Untermolo doo Novi Sad.

The early public inspection will last until July 26.
