Local Team mBrainTrain Developing Device Which Measures Brain Activity

The founders of the company mBrainTrain, Bogdan Mijovic and Ivan Gligorijevic, nearly 11 years ago, when they returned from their PhD studies in Belgium, decided to launch a company which they felt strongly even then would contribute to the further development of scientific research through the development of advanced mobile EEG systems and methods.

This company mostly develops hardware solutions – small devices for measuring electrical brain activity.

– Our clients are all those who work on researching the brain, the mental condition and consciousness and who want to do so in real conditions, so they need an easily portable and reliable EEG device, at their workplace, in the nature while taking a walk, or even in space on an international space station, as was the case with Axiom – Bogdan Mijovic says for Netokracija.

Seven people work on the development of these products, of a total of 15 permanent employees, and Bogdan also points out that they are currently expanding, but mostly with non-technical staff.

– In addition to that, we also have external associates who work with us within consulting and part-time roles for specific fields. The further development of the technology (which would go beyond hardware) would require an addition team, but we would have to secure additional investments for that kind of expansion – he says and adds that they are not planning to do so at the moment.
