Works on the reconstruction of 63 km of the rail Podgorica-Niksic, 50 millions EUR

Montenegro prime minister Milo Djukanovic and Czech minister of industry and trade Milan Urban are opening a ceremony of beginning of works on the repair of the rail Podgorica-Niksic.

The project of the reconstruction is predicted as a repair, electrification and installation of modern signalizing security and telecommunicational devices and adaptation of business objects on 63 km long rail. These works for the needs of Railways of Montenegro is conducting a consortium of czech companies from Brno and Prague, with a credit support of Czech export bank. The project is worth 50 millions eur, it will be conducted for 3 tears, with a redrawal of certain means in 3 phases, depending on the dinamics of works, as well as the period for the credit payment of 13 years.

Material and equipment providers are from Montenegro, Croatia, BIH, Serbia, Czech and Poland.
