Holleman transported a dryer weighing 96,000 kg from Rijeka to Bečej

The company Holleman, the market leader in the transport of oversized and heavy loads in Serbia and Eastern Europe, recently carried out a transport venture for the first time recorded in these areas.

On the route from the port of Rijeka in Croatia to Bečej in Serbia, a dryer was transported for industrial production.

The dimensions of the cargo were 12.5 x 3.7 x 4.26 (m), mass 96,000 kg, and the dryer was previously delivered to the port of Rijeka from Illinois, USA.

- It was a big challenge to transport such cargo on the mentioned route, because the total height is high, and when it was combined with the dimensions and weight of the vehicle used for transportation, the total transport dimensions were 38 x 3.7 x 4.5 (m ) and about 150,000 kg - the company says.

They point out that for the first time in this area, a trough with a height of 20 cm was used for heavy loads of up to 206 tons.

The total transit time was 2 days from Rijeka to Bečej, the transport was carried out in February 2023, according to Holleman, which also specializes in industrial manipulation, assembly and transshipment.

The most common transport routes of the transport company Holleman connect Western and Eastern Europe with Asia, and the company`s clients come from various industries, such as construction, agriculture, metal industry, beer industry, petrochemical, oil and gas, thermal and hydroelectric power plants.
