Spritzer Fest in Knjazevac on April 15 and 16

Wine lovers from Serbia, Bulgaria and Macedonia will be competing next weekend in Knjazevac in making a spritzer for the Guinness Book of World Records.
The Spritzer Fest will include numerous cultural events and it will be an opportunity for oenologists and gastronomists to present themselves.
Next weekend, on April 15 and 16, the Cultural Center in Knjazevac will host the Spritzer Fest, the first international event dedicated to spritzer and traditional dishes and culture. As Chairman of the Organizational Board Ivan Svetozarevic announced today in Zajecar, in addition to spritzer making and drinking contests for men and women, the most significant competition will be held on Friday at 1 PM.
That competition will gather local winemakers and chefs, as well as the winners of the Sausage Contest in Turija and the Strudel Contest in Novo Milosevo.
The programme of the Spritzer Fest will also include a concert of the most beautiful wine songs, an exhibition of wine photos, as well as a movie marathon, part of which will be a film about wine. There will also be a fashion show prepared by the members of the Knjazevac association for cherishing the tradition Izvor and a round table where topics will be Spritzer or Pure Wine and Wine Appraisal.
It is interesting that organizers forbid the use of beer and soda at the Spritzer Fest, instead of which the old drink klaker will be served. The organizer is the organization Manifesto, while the golden sponsor is Rubin from Krusevac.
The ticket costs RSD 100, while the entrance for children under 10 is free.
