Move the Borders - International Construction Expo opens in Belgrade

Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic opened on Tuesday the 37th International Construction Expo in Belgrade, which will be closed on April 16.

This year’s fair is held under the slogan Move the Borders, and it will be an opportunity for the presentation of the latest technologies in that field.

The expo will gather over 900 exhibitors, 300 of which from abroad. Exhibitors are coming from 29 countries of Europe, Asia and America, while the number of visitors may reach about 50,000, organizers announced.

It is the biggest event dedicated to the construction industry in the region of Southeast Europe and exhibitors will this year present themselves and their portfolios in eight halls spanning the total of 60,000 square meters.

Traditionally, Nova Vizura awards and Posebno Priznanje diplomas will be presented in order to encourage exhibition of new technical-technological solutions in five categories of goods.

The program of the International Construction Expo also includes a conference on energy efficiency (Sustainable Green Energy Day), which will be held on April 15, as part of the decision of the Government of Serbia to declare this year as the year of energy efficiency.

With the aim of promoting the processes and products of the environment preservation, the booths of exhibitors that meet the necessary criteria of energy efficiency and sustainable construction will be decorated with green balloons.

The International Construction Expo will be open every day from 10 AM to 7 PM, except on Saturday, the last day of the fair, when the gates will be closed at 5 PM. The price of a single ticket is RSD 500, the ticket for groups costs RSD 350 per person, while the set of tickets for all days of the expo is RSD 900.
