InterConnect, one of the most significant business events in the region, a unique two-day gathering, will bring together, on April 26-27 in Belgrade, international experts, representatives of European companies looking for business partners and suppliers in the Western Balkans and local small and medium enterprises.

InterConnect is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the company Convenistics, with the support of the project “Big Small Businesses”, which is financed by the USAID and implemented by the organization ACDI/VOCA.

The conference in Belgrade will be an opportunity for SMEs from the metal sector, rubber, plastic and mechanical industries to directly meet representatives of 15 big European companies from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, whose annual income exceeds EUR 24 billion, at B2B meetings and agree new exporting jobs with them, according to the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS).

One of the main topics of the conference will be the new German law on due diligence in supply chains, the implementation of which started on January 1 this year, as well as sustainability and the most current business challenges that the global economy is facing.

– Over two hundred company representatives are expected to attend and they will have an opportunity to connect with renowned partners, agree new jobs, get included in international supply chains, but also exchange experiences about the latest trends, challenges and solutions in the field of production process sustainability and the conditions of the global trade and industry with leading world experts, such as Ferdinand Wieland, CPO & SVP Procurement & Supply Chain, thyssenkrupp Automotive – it is pointed out on the CCIS portal.

The InterConnect conference will be held in Hotel Metropol Palace in Belgrade, and companies from the region may apply for the event at the link InterConnect (pks.rs).
