Coning opened Europe's most modern center for car tires and belts in Europe in Belgrade - Investment worth €6.5 million


Tire importer Coning opened one of Europe's most modern retail-service centers in Belgrade on February 1st. This center, of which construction cost EUR 6.5 million, spans over 5,000 square meters and employs 20 workers.
Coning's newly opened center is situated at 67 Novosadski Put road and it offers customers a broad spectrum of products and services.
Jovo Pupovac, the Director General, says for eKapija that the center comprises a car wash, an automobile inspection station for freight and passenger vehicles, a store of disposable materials, a restaurant with a cafe bar, and a VIP room for traffic safety presentations.
- The automobile inspection station within the newly opened center is the first service station in Serbia whose work is completely brought in accordance with the standards of the new Law on Traffic. It is possible to do the inspection of passenger and freight vehicles using up-to-date machines at the station, as well as to exchange oil and mount or unmount tires – said Pupovac.
The product assortment includes various brands of pneumatics such as Continental, Uniroyal, Semperit, Barum, General, Amerika, Mitas, as well as all kinds of Ruben and Optibelt v-belts.
Mestrov from Croatia, the general representative of manufacturers of metal industrial shelves, metal safe deposit boxes and safes for banks, took part in equipping of the center's storage with metal shelves for tires.
Belgrade-based Coning is one of the largest importers of tires on the territory of Serbia, it cooperates with over 7,000 companies and it is the general representative of the German company Continental.
