Part of New Equipment for Production of Electric Cars Arrives to Kragujevac

The president of the Autonomous Trade Union of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia factory, Sasa Djordjevic, has confirmed for RTS that a part of the new equipment for the production of electric cars has arrived to the factory in Kragujevac.

Sasa Djordjevic says that the installation of the equipment is in progress. Initially, the equipment should be used for the production of car parts for the Stellantis factory in Slovakia.

Djordjevic expects another delivery of the equipment to arrive next year, so that everything would be ready for the production of the new electric car in Kragujevac in 2024, as announced earlier.

Stellantis Group, of which Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is a part, and the Government of Serbia reached an agreement on the financing of the electric cars to be produced in Kragujevac in April this year.
