Company Behind “World of Tanks” Video Game to Expand to Belgrade – Looking for 400 People

The company behind the popular tank- and warship-themed video games “World of Tanks” and “World of Warships” – Wargaming is opening a studio in Belgrade, the company announced.

In addition to Belgrade, new studios will also open in Warsaw.

As said, in a total of eight studios in Europe, 400 people will work, the Telegraf portal reports.

– Wargaming Belgrade will host international and local talents in development disciplines. In the future, the office will also become an important hub for company’s workers to move to from several locations. The studio will focus on franchises, providing key services and potential development of new products. In Warsaw, the company will initially have a small publishing team with further development plans for the location on which it will decide as the restructuring process continues. Warsaw and Belgrade were a logical choice for these new locations. Both cities are fast-developing tech sectors. We are looking forward to a close cooperation with IT communities in both cities in order to build the best units for game development. The locations in Belgrade and Warsaw will be of essential importance for the achieving of our goals – said Victor Kislyi, the company’s CEO.
