The decision on determining the basis for the signing of Protocol 1 between the Government of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the amendments to the agreement on the mutual abolition of visas has enabled citizens of these two countries to cross the state borders with a valid biometric ID card in an effort to improve and facilitate the movement of people and the traffic of goods, it was announced following the government’s session, as reported by the Novosti portal.
It is said that this is of special importance, considering the very developed economic cooperation of Serbia and Turkey and a remarkably large number of mutual tourist visits.
