Raw Sunflower and Safflower Seed Oil Exempt from Ban on Export, Refined Sunflower Oil Added to the List

The Government of Serbia has adopted the amended Decision on the Temporary Ban on the Export of Basic Agricultural-Food Products Essential to the Populace, according to which raw oil made from sunflower or safflower seeds is exempt from the ban on export.

According to the website of the Government of Serbia, this product cannot be used for the further processing into refined sunflower oil and is most frequently used in the paint and coating industry.

It has also been decided for refined sunflower oil to be added to the list of products whose export is temporarily banned.
