Each second dinar in the budget comes from the collected importing charges, the Customs Administration says and points out that, despite the turbulent beginning of 2021, they had a share of over 51% in the budget revenues at the end of the year.

The Customs Administration, according to the press release, thereby ensured a secure financing of all budget beneficiaries. They also point out that they realized record-breaking collection results despite the pandemic.

On that occasion, the Customs Administration will hold an annual press conference tomorrow, at which it will present the results and plans. They will also talk about what the Customs Administration is doing to accelerate the traffic of goods and passengers.

As said, the automation of customs procedures is being carried out at a rapid pace, as is the implementation of concrete simplifications in the transport of goods with the neighbors within the Open Balkans initiative.
